Most of the time when actresses/models do photo shoots, they show up, and get told what to do. It’s a relatively thoughtless process for me, and I’ve always felt like I wanted to contribute, in some way, to the theme of the shoot.
My older brother is an unbelievable photographer. Some people can take amazing photographs of things, but not necessarily of people. Nathan has this ability to capture human emotion through the lens like nothing I have ever seen before (Most of what I am talking about is apparent in his photos taken while he traveled Europe and South America). We decided a few weeks back that we wanted to do a shoot together. Why haven’t we done this before? I don’t know. It seems like it would satisfy both of our artistic desires right? I suppose it can be viewed as very narcissistic that I want my brother to take pictures of me, but its good practice for him to learn to photograph an actress (an art of its own believe me) and I get to take pictures that actually appeal to me. At the very least its tons of fun, and because working with a family member can be challenging, we end up strengthening our bond through every creative endeavor that we do together. With the help of a few friends 5 Sundays ago (Kristin Ess who does hair and contributed theme ideas, and Samuel Paul who does makeup ), we took some rather fun/stylized pictures….

I think beauty, is kind of similar to the word perfect. They are both words really that shouldn’t be used so much. But they do, and I guess that’s never going to stop. We all have different perceptions on what is beautiful and what is perfect.
Your brother has a talent. And you seem to care a lot for your family. And you have tattoos. What was the previous one you had? I’d love to have some tattoos. Tattoos possibily similar to maybe Alyssa Milano, who’s another actress.
I have seen Thirteen, parts of it. For the age you were, to write a script, that shows talent and probably even a backbone. I’d have been scared at that age to share so much of my childhood relating to family, experiences. And would not know the layout of the script. So you’re brave and talented for that. I watched parts of Thirteen, near enough all. But at the time, I was recovering from self harm, well suicidal thoughts, relating to school. So I found it difficult to watch. Also, I don’t think I’d find myself as any of those characters, only close to self harming. But I gathered from what I saw, that it was quite emotional.
We need more films I think, which deal with real experiences, and deep emotions. I would like to write a script one day and I think you might inspire me to. Or I might write a book. Could you give any advice what the best way to go about writing a script or writing about experiences is?
Anyway I have seen the comments on here. I don’t think you’re a “famewhore”, or seeking attention so much. Otherwise you would be all over everyone and out in the paparazzi’s view, every day, every week, every month. But you seem to hide away now. Besides being called that, I think most gathered that image from tabloids.
I do find though, it is odd how you used to say you were best friends with Kristen, but now it’s like she’s out of that now. The MTV Movie Awards for instance, you stood by Liz, who is your best friend now, you were stood so far apart. Previous awards shows, during 2009, for instance at the Teen Choice Awards, you were stood by each other communicating. I do find it odd how you can be best friends with someone, and then a year later, although reasonable to drift apart, you are onto a new best friend. If that former best friend meant so much, surely you would both try and be friends and include each other more.
I think the possibility is though, that for instance, I have best friends, two, who I have known for ages. I’m young like you are, but I can’t imagine losing best friends. It doesn’t happen. In school it did, but since then, it hasn’t. You can keep hold of some I guess, and lose some. But it would be interesting to know, maybe from you, your view on it all. If that doesn’t sound too insulting. Or maybe there isn’t anything to tell.
Yet, there is still so much more which might bother people. You said how you changed who you hung out with, on the Eclipse set, or during that time. There was a rumour you became friends with Liz, because they were all smoking. But you denied that. But then months later, you said you did become friends with Liz due to the reason that the others smoked. And then that you would arrange a surprise for Kristen’s Birthday. But you hadn’t seen her in ages. Surely if you hadn’t seen someone in ages which implies months, you wouldn’t know of their plans to celebrate their Birthday. I think to some people, including me, it might come across as lying or digging yourself into a corner.
Also, I remember listening and reading some interviews, where you used to praise Rob. But then to leave a comment how feminine he is. It’s not a nice compliment. And it does appear weird when you two don’t talk at events so much. It’s almost like he doesn’t acknowledge you, when you walk on stage.
So two good, close friendships appear lost to most people, I’m guessing to the ones especially who have called you ugly. Which I don’t think you are. Ugly is another word which people have different perceptions on. If someone’s horrible, then I’d class that as ugly.
It would be interesting to know these answers.
I think then, people would stop with the hate towards you, or dislike. And their opinion might change of you.
But you can’t please everyone. So if you don’t create a post over here, answering these replies, then never mind.
Take care anyway. And if it’s ever possible for you and Kristen to become close and best friends again, good luck! It’s a shame to lose friends, and unless you’re really cruel to that person, then I’m sure there’s a way to bring them back into your life.
And as someone said up above, usually when someone calls someone ugly, they’re usually ugly themselves.
Wow! Get a life and leave Nikki’s alone. Just cause she is in the public eye doesn’t mean she has to explain herself to you or anyone for that matter if she has a falling out with her girlfriends or cast members. People who work together and see so much of each other, well it can get exhausting. It’s Hollywood. One minute your in and another your out. I say just be happy and live it up while it lasts.
Get A life! It’s none of anyone’s business but Nikki’s who she hangs around. Don’t act like you know her, or are in any way involved in her personal friendships.

I cannot believe the lies I’ve read here, “you’re beautiful, talented…” To give a couple examples, I get that you guys are fans, but please be a little honest, Nikki is very unattractive. I used to think she looked fat because she was always trying to be up Kristen Stewart’s butt and dress like Kristen, and since Kristen is so thin anyone would look overweight next to her or dressing like her, but these pictures prove me wrong. I completely understand why you would want to “get your brother to take pictures of you”, haha, truth is, half the girls in North America are doing the same thing. The only difference is you can take them with you photographer brother, while we take them with our bestfriends and their tiny canon digital cameras!

I had the privelege of meeting Nathan in February of last year at the first Twilight con Creation did in San Francisco. He was very sweet & seemed like a very nice guy. These photos are beautiful, though the subject was so beautiful it couldn’t have been very hard.
