It’s a beautiful pictures
Wow! The pictures look amazing! I live here in Africa. Have been living here my whole life! It an awesome place. If I get my dad to drive me, I can be in spots like that in 2 hour tops. I used to have a pet cheetah but it couldn’t have babies in captivity so we let it free. I’ve also been up close and personal with lions! Hope you had a fun time here!

Hi Abi! If you ever get the chance to come to Costa Rica, we have a place in Guanacaste called “Africa Mía” (My Africa) which is a park that looks very much like an African sabana. They have lions, hippos, zebras, the whole lot! Might be similar to Africa (not quite but close!). Greetings from Costa Rica!
After a trip to Africa, is’s interesting to visit Russia.

I live in northern california, and sometimes you can just go on these beautiful hikes where you see these wonderful animals. Please come and see us in northern california. I usually go to LA (hollywood land!) to see my grandparents and I always feel so thrilled! Its my ultimate dream to become an actress! My parents say I should major in math, since thats one thing Im verrry strong in, but somehow its just not my thing. What do you say it took to make in into the world of acting? Would you say there is one quality that a person should have to get ahead in the field? Thank you! Your pictures are seriously so cool and I LOVE animals so I think it would be sick to see those animals in their natural habitat. Howevverr, I went to the zoo a few weeks ago and saw the coolest thing ever.

It’s a mother monkey breastfeeding the baby monkey. My aunt tried to get as good of a picture as possible, but it was kind of hard since the zoo insisted on having chain link fence around all the exhibits.
We took more pictures from different angles where you can see the baby wrapping its arms around the mother, but I figured I probably shouldn’t spam this whole thing.

j’ai adoré vos pensées…votre âme d’artiste un peu torturé qui a du mal à se trouver (si je puis me permettre) ça m’a touché car moi, mon rêve c’est l’écriture, un cahier avec des mots laissés sur des pages blanches mais j’ai beaucoup de mal…on me dit de me lancer mais c’est plus facile à dire qu’à faire…je me dirige toujours vers mes pensées alors que je préfèrerais écrire un roman, une fiction mais non mes pensées prennent le dessus et je m’arrête d’écrire…pfft un vrai dilemme j’ai 35 ans et vécu (bien et mauvais) beaucoup de choses pour mon âge. mais l’important c’est d’être là toujours debout. heu..je commence à écrire un roman hihi j’ai adoré vos photos, les marais (la bouillie verte) vision qu’on ne trouve pas par chez nous. je me suis toujours sentie un esprit de grande voyageuse mais la vie en à décider autrement mais je suis contente, j’arrive à voyager dans mes pensées, et vos photos sont fantastiques même si vous êtes critique avec vos captures, elles ne reflètent hélas jamais la beauté de ce que nous voyons ou ressentons…;)

Nikki, you are so lucky to have travelled to Africa!! Your pix are beautiful! My husband and I have volunteered at our local wildlife rehabilitation center (www.animalrescue.org go to wildlife dropdown) for over 9 years. I am a nurse but I love caring for Pennsylvania’s injured and orphaned wildlife! Animals are so innocent and beautiful. Hope you post more pictures and I hope someday to travel there.

Wow, Nikki, you are as beautiful on the inside as you are outside. Obviously I don’t know you personally, but from what I’ve read on your blog, you are truly an intellectual. You said that you can’t always grasp what you’re feeling and put it onto paper, but isn’t that the eternal frustration of an artist? I can relate to that like you wouldn’t believe. Another thing that really impressed me is that you know beauty when you see it, and you take that beauty, absorb it, and reflect on it. Memories from your past (as opposed to the future? lol) are not wasted but grabbed and held on to tightly.

These photos are incredible! I particularly love the one where a puma(or is it a cheetah?) is sleeping on a branch. Just out of curiousity what part of Africa Did you go to? I’m planning to visit a friend of mine who lives in Kenya in winter break and i really want to see and take photos of cool animals in their natural habitat.
